MicroSan

A bacterial bioformulation for improving environmental, sanitary and hygiene conditions in all types of livestock facilities, and in their surroundings. It is also intended to be used for microbiological processing of liquid manure and slurry in tanks.

Description

Microsan is a unique bioformulation for sanitary and hygiene applications for pigsties, coops, calving sheds, and slurry tanks, reducing pathogenic bacterial, viral, and fungal count in the bedding. It significantly reduces unpleasant odours by reducing ammonia and hydrogen sulphide content in livestock facilities.  Its use reduces the number of flies and their larvae, as well as survival forms of endoparasites.

  • Neutralisation of bad odours, reduction in ammonia and hydrogen sulphide
  • Reduction of microbiological contaminations (bactericidal and viricidal effects)
  • Lower number of pathogens
  • Reduced moisture content in the bedding at a livestock facility
  • Reduced incidence of respiratory, gastrointestinal, and limb diseases

Microsan consists of a bacterial composite containing 2.275 x 109 CFU in one gram, and a starter – a start-up medium for fast growth of bacteria included in the formulation.

  • At livestock facilities: 2–5 g/m² of a surface area every 14 days. Higher doses are recommended at the initial stage of its use. The calculated and measured out quantity of the formulation should be spread evenly over the surface. MICROSAN can be used in a presence of the livestock at their stations. For bioformulation effectiveness, it is important to repeat the treatment regularly every 14 days.
  • With microbiological treatment of liquid manure and slurry in tanks, and refuse in treatment plants, lagoons, septic tanks, and at other facilities and equipment of similar arduousness and load, the formulation is used at 20 g/m³ of refuse, every 14 days. Pour the calculated and measured out quantity of MICROSAN into a tank or a septic tank, or introduce it through a closed sewage system. For bioformulation effectiveness, it is important to repeat the treatment regularly every 14 days.

MicroSan is completely safe for humans, animals, and the environment, and does not require any specific safety precautions during its use.
