Description
Microfosfat is a formulation helping to increase the content of phosphorus that can be assimilated by plants. The total phosphorus content in soils is high, but it is bound in compounds that cannot be assimilated by plants, such as calcium phosphate, CaPO4, apatite, or in post-harvest residues.
In the soil solution, the content of phosphorus in the H2PO4- forms, which can be assimilated by plants, is low. The phosphorus that can be assimilated by plants from the soil solution needs to be supplemented with other sources, as it is transformed into other forms, inaccessible to crop plants.
Effects:
- Reduced fertilisation with phosphorus fertilisers
- Improved effectiveness of phosphorus fertilisers
- Increased quantity of phosphorus accessible to plants already after 7 days
- Increase in yield and plant production profitability.
Phosphate Solubillizing Bacteria (PSB) from Microfosfat can process organic and mineral phosphorus compounds into forms uptaken by plants from the soil solution. When used together or after mineral fertilisation, it increases the pool of phosphorus accessible to plants – this way the fertilising efficiency can be increased by 100%!
The formulation composition is based on Bacillus bacteria belonging to PSB. Bacillus bacteria are very persistent, and in adverse conditions (frost, drought), they produce spores.
According to conducted studies, Microfosfat introduced into the soil can increase the pool of phosphorus available to crop plants even six times.
